XD6138

AEC-Q100 Grade 1 Compliant Voltage Detector, Topr=125°C

XD6138 with 76V VSEN pin, high accuracy, low power consumption

The XD6138 series is a voltage detector with separate power supply voltage terminal and voltage detection terminal (sense terminal). Since it supports sense terminal input voltages up to 76V, it does not require a dividing resistor like low-voltage products when monitoring the voltage of 12V and 24V automotive batteries and can monitor directly.

Since no dividing resistor is required, it is possible to suppress the constant current (dark current) that flows as a backup power source for the car navigation system, ECU memory, etc. even when the ACC power supply is off.

In addition, it contributes to higher accuracy, space saving, and improved reliability.

KEY FEATURES:

  • Monitor Voltage rails directly without needing dividing resistors
    • VSEN pin 76 V max.

EXAMPLE OF 12V BATTERY MONITORING

With general voltage detectors only the detection voltage can be set, and the release voltage is determined in advance by the hysteresis width (approximately 5% of the detection voltage).

With the XD6138 series, the detection voltage and release voltage can be set separately. High or Low detection logic can be selected, and in addition to the widely used voltage drop detection, overvoltage detection is also supported.

The delay time can be externally adjusted with an external capacitor, and the ratio of the detection and release delay times can be selected.

In addition, a manual reset function is provided that can be forcibly reset by dropping the Cd and MRB terminals to the VSS level.
