Synchronous Step-Down DC/DC + Low Input Voltage LDO


The XCM519 series is a multi combination module IC which comprises of a 600mA driver transistor built-in synchronous step–down DC/DC converter and low voltage input LDO regulator. Battery operated portable products require high efficiency so that a dual DC/DC converter is often used. The XCM519 can replace this dual DC/DC to eliminate one inductor and reduce output noise. The DC/DC converter and the LDO regulator blocks are isolated in the package so that noise interference from the DC/DC to the LDO regulator is minimal.


The synchronous DC/DC converter with a built-in 0.42Ohm P-channel and 0.52Ohm N-channel transistors can be used with ceramic capacitors and enables a high efficient, stable power supply with an output current of 600mA to be configured using only a coil and two capacitors connected externally.
The LDO regulator provides highly accurate (±20mV) outputs and can supply current efficiently due to its ultra low on-resistance even at low output voltages.


Available in a space saving ultra small USP-12B01 (2.8mm x 2.3mm x 0.6mm) package.
