700mA HiSAT-COT Synchronous Step-Down Micro DC/DC Converter

The XCL243/244 series is a high speed transient response 700mA synchronous step-down Micro DC/DC converter with integrated inductor which fits in a tiny 2.25mm x 1.5mm x 0.75mm USP-8B04 package.

The extremely fast load transient performance is as a result of a new HiSAT-COT (Constant On Time) control method, which, when compared to standard COT control, provides less fluctuation in oscillation frequency against load and input voltage.

The input voltage range is 2.5V to 5.5V and the output voltage range is 0.8V to 3.6V (accuracy ±2.0%). Switching frequency is 3.0MHz and the operating ambient temperature range is -40°C ~ 105°C.

With the built-in UVLO function, the driver transistor is forced OFF when the input voltage becomes 1.95V or lower.
