30V, 2A Step-Down PWM DC/DC Converter
The XC9250 is a high breakdown voltage step-down DC/DC converter with an operating input voltage of 30V, input rating of 36V, and a peak voltage of 46V for 400ms.
Highly efficient, stable power supplies, with output currents of up to 2A can be realized and the switching frequency can be selected from 300kHz or 500kHz options.
The XC9250 series has a 0.8V (±2%) reference voltage, and using externally connected resistors, the output voltage can be set freely within a range of 1.2V to 12V. The control method is PWM only for high levels of efficiency at heavy loads.
A current limiting function, either latch type or auto recovery type, is built-in and also a thermal shutdown circuit is incorporated to enable safer circuit design.
The soft-start time can be adjusted externally by connecting a capacitor (CSS) to the SS pin.
Available in a SOP-8FD package.
