Business Development Coordinator
We are now recruiting for a Business Development Coordinator to join our growing Business Development Team here at Torex.
Based in our Coalville office, you will be working together with our internal and external sales teams and with our distributors to look after a wide range of small to medium size customers located in the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) countries + The Netherlands with a goal to develop their potential.
A background, or active interest in, electronics or the sciences is preferred as is a willingness to learn about our products. A proven track record of selling a technical product or service, usually making reference to specifications and key selling points to help customers make informed decisions, will also be beneficial.
As the position is focused on working with central European customers, previous experience of having worked with companies from these countries would be an advantage. The role is office based but with opportunities in the future to travel to the countries listed above to provide hands on design & sales support and to further build on the relationship with the customers and distributors.
This role is about building relationships with our customers so we can develop a better understanding of their activities and requirements, allowing us to sell more effectively to them.
You will be expected to use video calls over MS Teams with your customer base to help enhance existing relationships wherever possible and this will be an important element of this role.
You should have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint and experience with LinkedIn or similar.
