Step-Down DC/DC + VDR
600mA Synchronous Step-Down DC/DC + 500mA LDO with Voltage Detector
The XCM524 series is a multi combination module IC which comprises of a 600mA driver transistor built-in synchronous step–down DC/DC converter, a 500mA CMOS LDO regulator plus a voltage detector. The DC/DC converter and the LDO regulator blocks are isolated in the package so that noise interference from the DC/DC to the LDO regulator is minimal.
The synchronous DC/DC converter, with built-in 0.42Ohm P-channel and 0.52Ohm N-channel transistors, can be used with ceramic capacitors and enables a highly efficient, stable power supply with an output current of 600mA to be configured using only a coil and two capacitors connected externally.
The LDO regulator provides highly accurate outputs selectable in 100mV steps within a range of 0.9V~5.1V whilst the detector voltage can be set between 2.0V~5.5V .
Available in a space saving ultra small USP-12B01 (2.8mm x 2.3mm x 0.6mm) package.
