New Multi Chip Module (MCM)
Combining 2 x XC9235/36 synchronous step-down DC/DC converters in one ultra small USP-12B01 package (2.8 x 2.3 x 0.6mm), this new multi chip module IC from Torex is an ideal space saving solution for applications that need a compact and efficient power management solution for powering both the I/O & core voltage rails of the boards CPU.
The XCM517 has an operating voltage range of 2.7V~6.0V and switching frequency can be selected from 1.2MHz and 3MHz. Control can be either PWM or PWM/PFM automatic switching. The XCM517 provides ultra low ripple performance (<10mV) across the full load range. Available now !
