Field Applications Engineer (Germany)

Job Description:

As the main technical interface for our major customers in central Europe, the successful candidate will provide design support and advice on the full range of Torex ICs. This includes recommending design solutions to meet customers’ key criteria with circuit schematics, component recommendations and coordinating the preparation of customized evaluation boards.

Presenting product presentations, attending customer design reviews and participating in technical seminars are all important aspects of this role as our aim is to develop an in depth understanding of our customer’s requirements to ensure we recommend the best possible solutions and continue to develop the right products for our target markets.

The candidate should be German speaking and ideally located in Southern Germany. The position is home office based, but frequent travel will be necessary to meet with clients and attend meetings in both the UK and Japan.

Skills Required:

The ideal candidate should have at least five years of analogue design experience with a clear bias towards power management system design. Additionally, some experience supporting customers in a similar role would be preferred along with good interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and management at all levels.

This position would suit a self motivated individual with a solid technical background and outgoing personality who wants to join a dynamic organisation with big plans.
